Larry Lee Peel

Mr. Larry Lee Peel, age 50, of Douglasville, GA passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born October 16, 1968 in Atlanta, GA. Larry was a retired emergency medical technician and then became a dispatcher. He was also a writer, photographer and movie critic. He proudly served in the United States Army. His favorite pastime however, was spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Phillips and Patricia Peel as well as grandparents, Jack and Mildred Cunard and William and Anne Phillips.

Surviving him is wife, who will always cherish his memory, Eileen Peel. He was a devoted father to Christina and Justin McDermott and son, Stephen Peel. Larry was a devoted grandfather to Aprill and Haylee McDermott. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Alexis Peel as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1 until 5 o’clock pm. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2 o’clock pm in the Rosehaven Chapel.
