Ms. Leah Susan Brumbelow, age 68, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. She was born September 2, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Brumbelow was self-employed as an attorney serving as a Juvenile Public Defender in Douglas County. She loved hunting, working in her garden and was a shell collector. Preceding her in death are her parents, Brooks and Flonnie Brumbelow and her sister Marsha Hansen. She is survived by her brother Tim (Alicia Echols) Brumbelow; sister Lundy Brumbelow; nieces Melissa Brumbelow, Stacy Smith and Lesley Dressler as well as numerous other great nieces, great nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 4 until 6 o’clock pm. A memorial service will follow in the Rosehaven Chapel at 6 o’clock pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to her church, Trinity Anglican Church, 8486 Bowden Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.
