Mr. Leonard Ray Lowery, age 63, of Winston, GA, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014. He was born June 24, 1951 in Hickman, KY. He worked for many years with Douglas County Department of Transportation.
Mr. Lowery was preceded in death by his parents, James Leonard and Lillian Jones Lowery; sisters, Betty Willis and Zelma Lowery; and a brother, Sammy Lowery.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Roberson; sisters, Shirley Menne, Joyce Lee and husband James, Shelia Stitcher and husband Jerry; grandson, Nick Lowery; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Reverend Josh Smith officiating.
