Born on June 21, 1942, in Athens, Georgia. Lillian lived a life rooted in love, generosity, and everything Georgia Tech.
Lillian was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Tammie Cox, Temothy Thomas, Teresa Roberts, Daniel Robinson, and Bonnie Robinson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Noah Robinson, Sr. and son, Noah Robinson, Jr. Her legacy continues through her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Lillian was seen as everybody’s mom had a heart big enough to adopt the world. She never met a stranger and welcomed all into her life with warmth and kindness. Whether it was through a kind word, a listening ear, or a plate full of her famous jelly, fried pies, or fruitcakes, Lillian made those around her feel like family.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held today at 11 AM at Rosehaven Memorial Park in Douglasville, Georgia.
Lillian Vaughn Robinson will be deeply missed, but her spirit of unconditional love, hospitality, and compassion will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
