Linda F. Smith

Linda Faye Smith, age 75, of Buckhead, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Linda was a dedicated and hardworking woman who balanced career and family with grace. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing both basketball and softball. Her determination and strong work ethic carried into her professional life, where she excelled as a District Operations Manager for Lennox Industries. After years of dedication, she retired to embrace the joys of lake life, cherishing every moment with her beloved grandchildren.

Affectionately known as "Bammaw," Linda found her greatest joy in her family. She created a warm and loving home, always putting others before herself. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 55 years, Ronald Smith; children, Robert (Kim) Smith and Tammy Smith; siblings, Annie Fair, Martha (Joey) Rohletter and Ricky (Jan) Hames; five grandchildren, Drew (Katie), Dillon, Davis, Farrah and Nick as well as one great grandchild, Jax, whom she loved the most.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, April 1 in the chapel of Whitley Garner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery.
