A devoted member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Douglasville for more than 50 years, she lived her faith through kindness, service, and love for her community. She enjoyed reading Christian books, watching HGTV, and cooking hearty country meals that brought family and friends together.
She dedicated more than 50 years of service to Regions Bank (formerly Commercial Bank), where she worked her way up from Bank Teller to Assistant Vice President reflecting her commitment, integrity, and strong work ethic.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm hospitality, and steadfast faith.
Ms. Woods is survived by her daughter, Wendy Williams; grandchildren, Tyler, Jason and Lauren and great grandchildren, Drake, Henley, Emma, Liam, Dylan, Mila, and Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Victor Woods and son Jeffrey Woods.
The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner Funeral Home Thursday, October 9 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with funeral services taking place in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm.
