Mr. Louis Peter Ludvigsen III

Mr. Louis Peter ‘Pete’ Ludvigsen III, age 71, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was born July 27, 1942 in Montgomery, AL. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandpa. Pete was a Veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in the 101st Airborne Division. He retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked for 30 years and also owned and operated Pete and Dude's One Stop on Chapel Hill Road for over 20 years. Pete and Dude retired to Florida for 10 years then moved back to Georgia. Pete was loved by all who ever crossed his path. His joy in life was taking care of and being there for his wife, children and grandchildren....he loved his family unequivocally with all his heart.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Peter and Dorothy Aldrich Ludvigsen II.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Onzell ‘Dude’ Ludvigsen; three children, Carmon and husband Chris, Kelly and Skeet; six grandchildren, Tye, Courtnie, Mason, Lexie, Conner and Violet; one great-grandchild, Jase; three sisters; two brothers; and a host of other family and friends.
