

Mable Camp Brown, age 80, of Douglasville, GA passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015. She was born July 9, 1934 in Douglasville, GA. Mable loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family and enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking. She was a member at Central Baptist Church, where she was involved in many activities including sending cards. Mable loved to watch Jeopardy on TV, had confidence to work crossword puzzles in ink and enjoyed computer games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Orville and Lucy Bonner Camp.
She is survived by daughters, Sherri Gantt and husband Jerry, Laurie Jackson, Alice Brown and Valerie Harper; brothers, Charles Camp, David Camp; sisters, Betty Busbin, Jane Williams and Anne Meek; grandchildren, Stacey Webb, Emily Thompson and husband Lane, Lauren Harper, and David Gantt; great-grandchildren, Brandon Morris, Tyler Morris, Madison Thompson and Maverick Thompson; many nieces, nephews and numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Wiley officiating.
