The family of Madison Faye Hayes, of Douglasville, Georgia is saddened to announce her passing on February 1, 2023 at the age of 26 years. The loss of Madison was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply heartbroken, but we know she is home with Jesus.
Madison Faye Hayes was born March 19, 1996 in Lithia Springs, Georgia to Felicia Burdette Hayes of Douglasville and Keith Hayes of Douglasville. Madison was a 2014 Graduate of Alexander High School. She was charismatic, a free spirit, and loved to have a good time. She was a very creative girl. She loved the art of makeup and fashion that led her to participate in a beauty pageant where she won her first ever pageant. Madison earned the title of Miss Sorghum in Blairsville, Georgia. She was beautiful, always creating new looks for herself through her love of style. Madison had love and compassion for all kinds of animals, especially dogs. Her family was important to her. Her mother was truly her best friend and she was a daddy’s girl through to her core. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her mother, Felicia Faye Hayes; her father, Samuel Keith Hayes (Melissa); her maternal grandparents, Faye and Olin Gordon of Winston; maternal grandparents, Paul and Diane Burdette of Jonesboro; uncles, Jeff Hayes of Winston, Leland Burdette of Carrollton, and Wayne Wilkinson of Dallas; aunts, Carolyn Gordon of Hiram and Christy (Chris) Hindman of Senoia; and many cousins who love her and will miss her.
Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Margaret Hayes; uncle, Curtis Hayes; and Aunt Robin.
The family will receive friends at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.
The Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel with Minister Mike Mallory officiating.
Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
