MSGT Manuel B. Clay, age 74, of Temple, GA passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015. He was born December 27, 1940 in London, KY. Mr. Clay retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years, during which he served in many wars and conflicts. He loved woodworking and made many, many things. Manuel was also a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching NASCAR but he especially loved to spend time with his family.
Mr. Clay is preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Martha Lee Clay as well as his brother Monty Clay.
He is survived by the love of his life, wife Betty Clay; daughter Terri Ellen and husband Russ; son Kenneth Manuel Clay; three grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, and Brandi; and three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Makenzie and Lauren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 2 pm until 3 pm. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel.
