Margaret A Coley

Mrs. Margaret Coley, age 81, of Villa Rica, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. She was born July 29, 1934 in Heflin, AL. She graduated from Chattahochee High School in 1948. Mrs. Coley was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Coley was employed for 35 years as an inventory clerk with the Seimens Corporation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Kizlar Darnell, brother Charles C. Darnell and granddaughter Stacy Lassetter.

Mrs. Coley is survived by the love of her life, her husband Roy Coley; daughters Loretta and Eddie Slaton and Elaine and Don Lassetter; brother Rev. Harold Darnell; sisters Edna Ellis, Tina Oldham, Lola Manley and Shirley Baker; grandchildren Tammy and Jeff Trotti, Donnie Ray and Susannah Lassetter, Jodie and Jason Horton, Kelly and Jason Vaughn; great-grandchildren Kayla Parker, Ryan Trotti, Devan Trotti, Mason Trotti, Audrey Lassetter; Justin Lassetter and Annaleigh Horton as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5 until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 in the Rosehaven Chapel at 2 o’clock pm with Rev. Mike Harris officiating and Don Lassetter delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Gunner officiating.
