Margaret A. Ward, age 75, of Douglasville, GA passed away Friday, September 5, 2014. She was born November 14, 1938 in Rome, GA. Margaret retired from Prager Brush Company and attended Bethel Baptist Church. Margaret loved her church, shopping, gardening and the Mountains.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Ward; her parents, Joe Brown and Suvell Bradford; three sisters; and seven brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Hill, and Brenda Johnson and husband Marvin; sisters, Mildred Greeson, and Liz McBurnett and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Brandon Forrest, Katie Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Jarrett Hill and Jenna Hill; and great-grandchild, Ellie Johnson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The funeral service will be Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Kevin Harris and Reverend Tommy Costner officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
