Marilyn Y. Tamburello passed away June 20, 2026 at the age of 79. She was born in Mobile, AL and resided in Rockmart, Ga. She worked many years as a school bus driver for Douglas County School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph M. Norwood and Winona (Jones) Norwood.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Kristie and Daniel Jones from Rockmart GA, grandson Blake Fields from Temple GA, granddaughter MacKenzie Fields from Clarkston MI, brother & sister-in-law Johnny & Nettie Norwood from Beaumont TX, sister Ritie Marsh from Bessemer AL, sister & brother-in-law Theresa & Steve Jennings from Fairhope AL, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank The Cottages in Rockmart for their care and kindness.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
