Martha found joy in life’s simple pleasures like watching westerns on television, getting lost in romance novels, and spending time with loved ones. Among her favorite moments were the afternoons she shared tea and conversation with her daughter-in-law, Brenda.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her faith, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
Martha is survived by her sons, Jonathan (Denise) Shipp, Jeffrey Shipp and Terry Shipp; brother, Billy Brawner; grandchildren, Jonathan Shipp, Joshua Shipp, Denisha Shipp, Mallory Shipp and great grandchildren, Jack and Malakai.
Committal will take place at Buford City Cemetery /Hillcrest Cemetery on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 11:00 am.
