Mr. Marvin Paul Allen, age 59, of Douglasville, GA passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was born August 28, 1955 in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Mr. Allen was a Veteran having served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he served on the submarine USS Trout. He enjoyed fishing, boating, the outdoors and being on the water. Mr. Allen also enjoyed playing with his grandson, spending time with his family and cooking for them. He enjoyed smoking meat in his new smoker.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Laura B. Allen; his parents, Walter and Violet Allen, Jr.; a brother, John Allen; and sisters, Eda Kinney, Alice Sommers and Donna O’Neil.
He is survived by a son, Paul Allen; daughter, Violet K. Havlik; brothers, Walter Allen, III, Thomas Allen and William O’Neil; sisters, June Day, Elaine Crone, Kay Diacetis, Dorothy Northup, Verna O’Neil and Sharon O’Neil; grandson, Ladislav Havlik; nieces, nephews and other family members.
