Mary Arrendale

Mary Arrendale, age 75 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on January 4, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on August 31, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Norman and Betty Ann Stiehl.

Mary was the heart of her family. A devoted and loving mother, she raised her two children as a single parent and did so with unwavering dedication. She was truly hands-on—never missing a school function, sporting event, or milestone. Mary sacrificed a great deal to ensure her children had a happy and fulfilling upbringing, and her love and commitment were evident in everything she did.

Known for her outgoing personality, strong work ethic, and quick wit, Mary was often the life of the party. She had a way of bringing people together and making them feel welcome, leaving lasting impressions on everyone she met.

Mary is survived by her beloved children, Christopher Lee Arrendale (Amanda) and Christy Lynne Thomas (Jonathan); and her cherished grandsons, Christian Thomas and Jackson Thomas, who brought her immense joy and pride.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10AM to 12PM, followed by a brief funeral service and committal at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home.
