Mary Wright Garcia

Mary Wright Garcia, age 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was born November 22, 1946 in Miami, Florida. Mary enjoyed being a homemaker and was family oriented, always gathering her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren together for family events. Mary loved animals and pets. She enjoyed all types of gardening, was creative and artistic, excelling at DIY crafts and projects. Mary was a private person, who loved nature and traveling. She enjoyed RVing and visiting state and national parks. Some of her travels included Key West, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon, as well as many Canadian national parks.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John Calvin and Mary (Whatley) Wright.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 53 (almost 54) years, Ralph Garcia; children, Natalie (Todd) Morgan, Jeannie Garcia and Larry (Kellie) Garcia; brother, John C. Wright; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Weathington and Charles Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Leo Weathington and Logan Weathington; and her pet dog, Chico.

No services are planned at this time.
