Mrs. Nora Mae Lewallen, age 79 of Douglasville, Ga passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020. She was born January 1, 1941 in Atlanta Ga. Mrs. Lewallen was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dearly loved all her grandchildren and children, and of course their puppy dogs. She was married to Marvin Donald Lewallen for 62 years. Donald passed away on July 23, 2019.
In addition to her husband, preceding her in death were her son, Marvin Steve Lewallen; her mother and father; and four of her six siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lewallen-Satterfield; her son, David Russell Lewallen; all five granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation. The funeral services will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in the Rosehaven Chapel at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mike Mallory officiating.
