Patricia “Pat” Ann Whisenant, age 69, of Villa Rica, Georgia, formerly of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. She was born September 16, 1951 in Ducktown, Tennessee. Family meant the world to Patricia, and she loved her grandbabies. She worked for 19 years as a flight attendant retiring from Atlantic Southeast Airlines. Pat loved traveling, flying and especially loved beaches – any beach. More recently, she worked part-time at Macy’s. She never met a stranger – always having a smile for everyone she met. Pat had a real zest for life and defined the title of social butterfly, loving to go out with friends, go shopping and having her nails done. At one time she was a member of the Red Hat Society. An avid Harley Davidson fan, Pat loved riding motorcycles with her friends and traveling from state to state. She was Baptist by faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Floyd Hasson and Beulah (Harris) Byers.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Tonya (Gary) Freeman; son, Todd Sharp; brother, Charles Byers; grandchildren, Kasey Hogue, Kody Hogue, Kaleb Hogue, Justin Freeman, Samantha Sharp and Levi Sharp; great-grandchildren, Langston Freeman, Kasen Hogue and Kylan Tuggle.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Hewett officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kody Hogue, Justin Freeman, Kaleb Hogue, T.K. Tuggle and Chase West. There will be a private family graveside at Georgia Memorial Park.
