

Mr. Paul Moser, age 93, of Douglasville, GA passed away Monday, March 25, 2019. He was born December 17, 1925 in Pottsville, PA. Mr. Moser proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a coach and a history teacher in the Panama Canal Zone for 30 years, and enjoyed watching all types of sports. Paul also was a ferroequinologist, an avid reader, history aficionado, and supporter of veterans causes.
Mr. Moser is preceded in death by his wife, Erin B. Moser; parents, William and Catherine Moser; brother, Rev. Charles Moser, and sister, Ruth Moser Gwynn.
He is survived by his son, Colonel (R) Mark and wife Linda; daughter, Laura Moser Austin and husband Stephen Austin; brother, William M. Moser, Jr., sister, Leah Moser Brokhoff, and grandchildren Leah Austin and Paul Austin.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5 until 7:30 pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 12 o’clock pm at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Interment will follow at Rose Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the American Legion or the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Douglasville, GA.
