Robert Anthony Cetrulo

He was born September 11, 1953 in Plainfield, New Jersey. A devoted husband and family man, he loved his children and his family. Robert worked as a mechanic with Goodyear with a career spanning 20 years at locations in New Jersey, Newnan, Georgia and Douglasville. He also worked as a truck driver for 20 years with Berkel and Company Contractors, Inc. in Austell, Georgia. Robert was a hard worker with values that he imparted to his family members. Known for his humor, his grandchildren thought he was the funniest man around. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed the sports in which they participated. Robert was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt and NASCAR, as well as Georgia football – Go Dawgs!! In his spare time, he and his family enjoyed cruises and traveling, especially to Alaska and to the mountains.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence A. and Anna (Linger) Cetrulo; and a brother, Lawrence J. Cetrulo.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara Cetrulo; sons, Robert Cetrulo (Caroline) and Joseph Cetrulo; daughter, Christine Cetrulo; nine grandchildren, Payton Cetrulo (Julia), Shannon Cetrulo, Jalen Parker, Katheryn Grace (Jacob), Gavin Cetrulo, Kaleb Major, Henry Cetrulo, Emalee Cetrulo and Andie Cetrulo; two great grandchildren, Ezra and Jasper; as well as numerous other family members.

All services will be planned for the First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 with the visitation being held from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. and the memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Pastor Andrew Dickenson officiating.
