

Miss Rose Moore, age 93, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019. She was born on July 9, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Oresto and Orsola Rosi. Miss Rose was a strong, independent, Italian woman who loved to cook. She made the best wine, cheesecake, and cookies there ever were. She also loved to sing and had an amazing voice. She spent a lot of time outside gardening her vegetables and bird watching. She enjoyed many different crafts like crocheting and made handmade cards for any occasion. Miss Rose is described by those who knew her as a jokester with a great sense of humor, which she passed on to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, John Moore; and her sisters and brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Del Prete; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, Miss Rose will be cremated.
