Born in Atlanta, Susan spent much of her life in Coweta County, building deep roots in the community she held dear. A proud graduate of South Cobb High School, Class of 1972, she went on to earn her degree from the University of West Georgia in 1976.
Susan was a woman of immense compassion, known for her unwavering kindness and selflessness. Her love extended to all living creatures, especially animals—cats held a particularly special place in her heart.
She possessed an incredible memory, never forgetting a loved one’s birthday, anniversary, or milestone. Whether it was a phone call, a heartfelt card, or a thoughtful social media message, Susan made sure others felt remembered and cherished.
To those who knew her best, Susan was a steadfast presence—always there, always listening, always lifting others up. Her warmth, humor, and deep sense of empathy made her not only a beloved family member but also a true friend and prayer warrior to many.
With a naturally inquisitive mind, she had an uncanny ability to track down information, and her detective-like internet skills were often unmatched. She thrived on connection and conversation, easily engaging with people from all walks of life.
Susan’s unique spirit shone brightly in the digital world, where her encouraging and thoughtful comments were a source of inspiration to many. Her faith, positivity, and zest for life touched countless hearts.
Above all, she was devoted to her loved ones—you were the apple of her eye, and she loved you deeply and unconditionally.
As we remember Susan, we imagine her now in a place filled with all the things she delighted in—a warm beach, a sparkling swimming pool, the company of beloved pets, and delicious food to share.
