Sylvia Hall Kacos, 60 years young, lost her 33-month battle with liver cancer on January 22nd, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Michael Kacos, of 43 years. They were married very young and survived the struggles of a long-term relationship and were deeply in love to the very end. She is also survived by her parents, Ron Hall and Beverly Kay Clark; her sister, Natalee Jamison; and her wonderful children, Bryan Kacos and Rachel Durso. Her seven grandchildren, Andrew, Maci, Riley, Addison, Annabelle, Arianna, and our newest bundle of joy, Zoey, will also miss her greatly.
Sylvia had many talents including painting, crafts, and was an excellent piano player. She loved life, especially with her grandchildren. She was born May 30th, 1960 in the town of Mena, Arkansas, and moved to Texarkana, Arkansas at a young age where she eventually met Michael. They were married at the young ages of 17 and 18 respectively. The rest is history. She met many people throughout her life and made many friends. She touched the hearts of those around her. Her passion for music will forever be remembered.
She was well-loved and will be missed.
Her Celebration of Life will be delayed because of COVID until it is safe for a large gathering. It will be held later this summer.
