Teresa Renee Logan (62) — beloved mother to Brittany, Meghan, Hannah, and Cassie Logan — passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2025. True to her nature, her final moments were spent in an act of care for someone else, running errands for her aunt in Bremen, Georgia. Teresa lived her life with quiet generosity, always putting the needs of others before her own, and left this world the same way she lived in it — with love, kindness, and selflessness.
Teresa was known for her humor, warmth, and the way she could make anyone laugh — even in the hardest moments. She had a rare gift for making life fun, reminding her children to laugh at themselves, to find joy in difficult times, and to hold onto silliness as a kind of strength. She loved her daughters more than anything in this world. Creative by nature, she spent her days drawing, coloring, making jewelry, and listening to music.
There was always a song playing around her, often one she’d share with her children — sometimes with a memory attached, sometimes just a quick note to say she loved them. Her music taste was unmatched; she took her kids to concerts, Warped Tours, and turned every drive into a sing-along. Teresa was proudly known as the “cool mom.”
She was also the mom everyone could call — no judgment, no hesitation, just love and a ride if you needed one. She opened her heart and home to friends, partners, and anyone who needed a place to feel safe. Strong, funny, creative, and endlessly compassionate, she made every person around her feel like family.
She is survived by her four daughters — Brittany, Meghan, Hannah, and Cassie Logan — as well as sisters Sheila Blair Evans and Pamela Carbajal, her brother Michael Blair, half-brothers Jason Evans and Steve Evans, sister-in-law Amanda Maddox Evans, great-aunt Donna Stothart, and her nieces and nephews — Evan Cain, Bobby Cain, Tyler Evans, Meghan Evans, Jennifer Evans, Melany Rose, and more. She is also survived by her former husband and lifelong friend, Robert Logan.
Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Cooper; father, John Hoag; stepmother, Joyce Hoag; and stepfather, Gerald Cooper.
Her warmth, humor, and boundless kindness will live on through everyone who was lucky enough to love her.
A private ceremony will be held at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Monday, October 13th, at 2:00 p.m. 8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134. The family will receive friends beginning at noon.
Flowers are welcome.
