Terry Smith O'Neal

Mr. Terry S. O’Neal, age 61, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday morning at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of El Paso, Texas, Mr. O’Neal was born on June 10, 1954 the son of Jerre O’Neal and Fredde Wright Morris. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Douglasville and served in the United States Navy. He was an avid wood worker and enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his father and step-mother; Jerre & Geraldine O’Neal. His mother, Mrs. Fredde W. Morris. One sister, Leslie Olsen ( Bobby Laird). One step-brother, Rocky Sikes. One step-sister, Darlene (Tony) Hammonds. Nephews, Andrew & Christopher Olsen along with a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. O’Neal will be conducted on Sunday October 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Rosehaven Chapel of the Whitley-Garner Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Alexander and Rev. John Pinson officiating and his father, Jerre O’Neal delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 25, 2015 from 12 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests that memorial contributions in Terry’s memory be made to the Douglasville Homeless Shelter P.O. Box 1337 Douglasville, GA 30134.
