Tim was a loving father and husband who enjoyed fishing and a good cookout almost as much as he loved his Rottweilers, Shy, Fat Boy, and Elsa who greeted him early this morning at the Pearly Gates with tails wagging hoping for a treat. Tim always had a story to tell from his many life experiences and was always willing to help in a moment’s notice anyone who needed his help. He always had a twinkle in his eye when it came to his wife of 36 years and his children and grandchildren. You would often find him at the Waffle House with his grandson, Brody after a service at Southern Hills Christian Church where he and his family attended. Tim loved fixing up old cars, especially 1956 2-Door Chevy’s. One was always sitting in his garage. He co-owned with his son, T.J., Dalton Carpet Sales in Powder Springs for many years. After closing shop, he opened up a produce business, “Farm Fresh Pickins” in Carrolton, Georgia.
Tim is predeceased by his parents William Sosebee and Alice Ann Sosebee, his sister, Patty Sosebee Wheeler and his brother, Chester Sosebee.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Sosebee of Carrollton, Georgia; his sons, T.J. Sosebee (Teri) of Acworth, Georgia and Jesse Sosebee (Jill) of Carrollton, Georgia; his daughters, Kim Sosebee Secco (Tim) of Centennial, Colorado and Wendi Sosebee Touchet (Joe) of Temple Georgia; his grandchildren, Kevin, Brandon, Steven, Evan, Summer, Brody, Alby, Sawyer, Haili, Topanga, and Caaos; his sisters, Rosemary Hardeman (Ronnie) of Peachtree City, Georgia and Linda Gail Lowery of Dallas, Georgia.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service in the spring.
