Mr. Toney Nisseem Joseph, age 79, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was born on July 13, 1941 in Cairo, Egypt. Toney was a well-educated man holding a Master’s Degree in Accounting. While in school at Emory, he achieved being placed in their history books for his discoveries in the field of accounting. He was proud of his work as a CPA. Toney was an all-around good person. He was a loving father and husband and loved to spend time with and care for his family.
A world traveler, he and his daughter, Judy, have visited many places throughout Europe. Including, but not limited to London, China, and Paris. He was a professional soccer player and was very conscious of his health. He remained active for most of his life and always took the stairs in place of the elevator. He and his wife are members of the Coptic Orthodox faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Nisseem and Maria Joseph; a daughter, Crystal Joseph; and 4 of his sisters.
Toney is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Tadoora Joseph; his daughter, Judy Joseph; a brother, Fareg Joseph; and other loved ones, family, and friends.
The family will have a private graveside service at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Rosehaven Memorial Park in Douglasville, Georgia.
