Tony Alan Nation, age 63, of Villa Rica and formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024. A Douglas County native, Tony was born July 23, 1960 in Douglasville. Tony was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was a 1978 graduate of Douglas County High. He was retired from Nations Electric in Douglasville. Tony was an avid Braves fan, loved to play golf and bowl.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Nations.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Emily (Mayfield) Nations; brother, Berry Nations (Alisha); sisters, Brenda Rawlins (Jon) and Jan Nations; nephews, Michael Rawlins (Katie), Sean Nations (Heather), Matthew Rawlins (Kelsey), Jeffery Rawlins (Erin), and Tanner Nations; niece, Shanna Layton (Alex); step-nephew, Jason Graham; step-niece, Jessica Graham; numerous cousins and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Josh Nelson officiating.
