Travis was a 2019 graduate of Chapel Hill High School and joined the United States Army the same year where he served as dedicated soldier. Travis was a loving husband and son. He had a fierce and determined personality and was always ready to face life’s challenges with courage and resilience. He had an infectious smile, a warm heart, and a genuine ability to make everyone around him feel valued and loved.
When Travis wasn't serving his country, he found joy in drawing, listening to music and gaming. He had a great passion for playing soccer and also taught classes in the Army centered around finance and credit card responsibilities. He treated everyone with respect and was a great role model.
Preceding him in death were his father, George Pameni; maternal grandmother, Henriette Moani; paternal grandfather, Georges Pangop; maternal great-grandmother, Marie Djine; paternal great-grandmother, Colette Youaleu; aunts, Lucie-Claire Djambou, Jeanette Tchabou Pangop and Therese Djomaleci; and uncles, Emaleu Emmanuel and Louis Roger.
Travis is survived by his beloved wife, Nasiah Pameni; his mother and stepfather, Yvette Pameni and Leopold Koloko; two sisters, Daimond Pameni and Brielle Esapa; two brothers, Kenny Pameni and George Esapa; maternal grandfather, Benoit Kamale; mother-in-law, Shajuana Wesney; father-in-law, Julien Wesney; brother-in-law, Shaquan Wesney; sister-in-law, Niyma Wesney; aunt, Helene Josiane Monthe; uncles, Jacques Yossa Kamale and Williams Obata Monthe; as well as other extended family members and a host of friends.
A visitation for Travis will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home, 8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rosehaven Chapel. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
Travis will be laid to rest in the Rosehaven Cemetery.
