William D. Gauthier

Mr. William Duane Gauthier, age 82, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was born May 8, 1933 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country in the Korean War. Mr. Gauthier had a long career in the blueprinting industry in management and sales for over 50 years. In 1965, he came to Georgia from the Chicago area.

Mr. Gauthier is preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Gauthier; and his parents, Lawrence and Lillian Thibault Gauthier.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Wizner; son, Mark Gauthier and wife Anne; daughters, Lana Oberst and husband Tom, and Laurel Gauthier and husband Mark; brothers, Gerald Gauthier and wife Carol, and Alan Gauthier and wife Nancy; sister, Germaine Bettiga; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral mass will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
