William Douglas “Will” Gordon, age 26, of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born in Austell, Georgia, on July 28, 1995, the son of Duane Alan Gordon and Lynn Bailey Gordon. Will was a 2014 graduate of Alexander High School. He worked for Southern Renovations Specialists and Dirty Rats Demolition.
Will was a fun-loving guy who loved his family and loved life. He loved clowning around and making people laugh. He was very independent and a deep person; however, he was a caretaker, a protector, and always had his family’s back! He was very driven and focused on succeeding. He loved all things outdoors. He loved Rap music and had a knack for writing his own material. He enjoyed watching horror movies. He was a real thrill seeker. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Will is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Steve Bailey.
He is survived by his parents, Duane and Lynn Gordon; his sister, Bailey Gordon; two brothers, Sam Gordon (his fiancee’, Haeven Sanders), and Max Gordon; maternal grandmother, Ann Bailey; paternal grandfather, W. C. Gordon and paternal grandmother, Sandi Gordon; and his aunts and uncles: Doug Bailey, Vallie and Jeff Beason, and Darrel Gordon; cousins: Kayla Bailey, Chase Bailey, Lauren Poteat, and Joel Beason.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the worship center at First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs, 10531 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Lithia Springs, GA 30122.
The Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm with Dr. Robert Whitmire and Dr. John Pennington officiating. Duane Gordon, Sam Gordon, Max Gordon, Aaron Coleman, Tyler Beltz, and Doug Bailey will be serving as Pallbearers.

He will be cremated following the funeral service.
