He graduated from Richard Bland College and Virginia Commonwealth University. He was the vice president of Human Resources at Outfront Media where he oversaw over 500 employees in 20 offices across 25 states.
Geoff will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for those close to him. He enjoyed spending time at home with the ones he loved, working out, traveling and Horror movies. Only those close to him truly knew what a kind, generous and sensitive soul he really was.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Judy Watkins of Chester, Virginia; siblings, Erin Boze, Justin Watkins, Wayne Watkins, Lorie Carroll and several nieces and nephews along with special friends, Anthony Funderburk and Brandon Marcano. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dana Spiers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Georgia and Virginia. Whitley Garner at Rosehaven is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements of Geoff Watkins.
