Yata Mozley Ellison

Yata was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 17, 1983, the daughter of the late Robert Stanley Dixon, Sr. and the late Patricia Evonne Mozley. Yata was a very plain-spoken young lady that loved to dance. Her family and friends thought she was funny and a good time to be around. Yata enjoyed time spent hanging out with family and playing video games. She was very business minded, having created her own resale business.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Heaven and Jhon Sanchez, brother, Robert Dixon, Jr., sisters and brothers-in-law, Tilquainta and Bobby King, Demeka and William Johnson, Inoya Mozley, Santesia Dave, Kierra Sims, Tierra Sims and Derrious Dave; numerous other loved ones family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral home on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m.

The repast and balloon release will begin immediately after the memorial service at the Ike Owen’s Ballroom at Hunter Park, 8830 Gurley Road, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
