

Born on June 24, 1935 in Stump Creek, he was the son of the late Floyd T. and Hazel (Reed) Lingenfelter. He married Pluma(Fridley) Lingenfelter on September 21, 1958 in Rockton.
He had worked for McDowell Manufacturing.
Jingles hobbies included tropical fish, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed his family.
He is survived by two sons: Benjamin S. (Kathy) Lingenfelter, Jr. and David L. Lingenfelter of DuBois, a daughter, Heidi L. (Bryan) Greeley of Reynoldsville; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He is also survived by two brothers: Eugene Lingenfelter of Ridgway and Donald Lingenfelter of Penfield; and two sisters: Mary Gill of Florida and Margaret Frederick of Lafollette, TN.
Jingles was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Floyd T. Lingenfelter, Jr. and a sister Patty Lingenfelter.
Funeral services will be held at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Bockus officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
