

Born on August 26, 1932, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Donald and Laura Richards Booth and was preceded in death by a brother, Jack. He was married to Naomi Edner Booth on July 25, 1953. She survives.
He was a 1950 graduate of DuBois High School. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, he graduated from Penn State University in 1956. He retired in 1990 as a nuclear engineer from Babcock & Wilcox after 33 years of service.
He was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church in DuBois, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by two sons, Andy of DuBois, and John of Germantown, Maryland, and one daughter, Betsy, of Evansville, Indiana; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 23, at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., with Reverend Robert Zilhaver officiating.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 22, from 7:00-9:00PM at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Saturday 10:00am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
