Elizabeth Elaine Stuart

Born on March 16, 1921 in Pittsburgh she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Hilda (Ruble) Porter.

Elaine was a graduate of the South Brownville High School in 1939.

She was a member of the South Brownville United Methodist Church, the South Brownville Fire Company Auxiliary, the Alpheca Club and the Ladies Aid Society at the Church.

Elaine was the organist at the South Brownville United Methodist Church for many years.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth H. Stuart of DuBois, PA, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry “Scotty” Stuart whom passed away on December 4, 1987, a daughter Nancy Stuart Sealy, two brothers: James and Kenneth Porter.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Skirpan Funeral Home in Brownville with Reverend David Chin officiating.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Skirpan Funeral Home.
