Esther Gray

Born on December 5, 1924 in Paradise, Pa the daughter of the late John and Iva(Green) Reed.

During World War II she was an airplane riveter in Buffalo, NY. On January 12th, 1946 she married William Gray, who passed away in 1998. During her marriage she worked at Brockway Glass, BF Goodrich, Jefferson Electronics, Sears and Riverside.

She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church for thirty years, P.T.A, meal on wheels.

Esther is survived by her two sons: Ed Gray of MD and Dennis(Sheila) Gray of DuBois. Also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Deborah(Kriner)Gray, granddaughter Cindy(Gray)Walters; a brother Charles Reed; six sisters: Bessie Fox, Myrtle Irwin, Rosalie Henry, Marion McKee, Leona Reed and Zella Sesti.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, in DuBois, with Rev John White officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.

Friends will be received from 7-9pm on Tuesday, April 10 at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10am until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
