

Born Sept. 12, 1927, in Home Camp, he was a son of the late Fred and Jessie Brown Weber. He was married to Mildred A. VanHorn Weber June 18, 1954, in Falls Creek. She preceded him in death Oct. 6, 2005.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Germany from 1946-47. In 1950, he re-enlisted in the National Guard and as a reserve of the Army. He was a truck driver in the service until he was honorably discharged in 1953.
He had been employed with Bethlehem Mines and worked on the gas wells. Later, he was a self-employed well driller.
In his younger years, he was an avid hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Brosky and her husband, George, Falls Creek; one sister, Nancy Snyder and her husband, James of Buffalo, N. Y.; three grandchildren: Amanda(Zack) Young of DuBois, Theresa Cox of DuBois and Lesa Brosky of Fredricksburg, VA. Three great-grandchildren: Melinda Cox, Breangela Riles and Jakob Young.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Fred and Dale Weber, and three sisters: Betty Hoffman, Avonelle "Pat" Forsyth, and Donna Gelnett.
Friends will be received from 6-9:00 p.m. Friday and 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, DuBois.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend John White officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
