Helen Senecal

Born on June 16, 1929 in Reynoldsville, PA the daughter of the late Peter Senecal and Julia (Farr) Hall.

Helen was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School in 1948 and Bryn Mawn Hospital of Nursing in 1955.

She worked as a Register Nurse at DuBois Hospital and Hanover Hospital for 28 years.

She was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church and the Rosary Alter Society. She enjoyed correspondence with friends and family.

Helen is survived by a brother: Danny Senecal of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters: Noreen Shemas of DuBois and Bernice Cota of Federal Way, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Gladys Stadtmiller, Cecile Tile, Frances Goodman and Bonnie McDowell; and a brothers: Norman Senecal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM at St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic Church in DuBois, on December 7, 2011 with Msgr. Richard Siefer as Celebrant. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2011 at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel.
