
Mr. Krznarich was born April 27, 1926 in Johnstown, PA; son of the late Ignatius and Katarina (Serbel) Krznarich.
He graduated from Cresson High School, and went on to serve in the United States Navy where he served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He served aboard the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier.
Mr. Krznarich was a member of the American Legion Post #17, VFW Post 813, DuBois CC, Litz Club, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for over ten years.
He was a member of St. Michaels Archangel Catholic Church, enjoyed golfing, sports, and was a happy crooner, as he would always break out in song.
Survivors include: niece, Katrina Maginn of Escondido, CA; and good friend, James Perry.
Mr. Krznarich was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Sophie K. Maginn, Margaret K. Maginn, and Elizabeth Krznarich.
A memorial service will be held at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 10:30am with Father Daniel Kresinski officiating. Full military honors will be presented by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
Interment will be at Morningside Cemetery.
