Leila G. Pfaff

Born on July 25, 1918 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Richard F. and Jennie (Beck) Gray.

Mrs. Pfaff graduated from DuBois Area High School in 1936 and attended the DuBois Business College. She managed the Boy Scout office for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church where she had been the oldest member of the church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, the Amaranth, National Secretaries, White Shrine, United Methodist Woman, and several bridge clubs.

Mrs. Pfaff is survived by two children, Paul F. (Ann) Pfaff of Bradford, PA, and Cynthia (Tony) Miele of Blanchard, PA, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Josephine Murray of Lodi, OH and several nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Jacob Pfaff whom she married on July 20, 1940 and who passed away on April 18, 1965, a brother, Leslie Gray, and three sisters, Carolyn Gray, Geraldine Gray Kuntz, and Jeanne Gray Bish.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Rev. John and Ellen Bullock co-officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
