Mary H Johnson

Mary was born in Phillipston , PA on September 26, 1925, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Pifer) Knisley.

She worked at DuBois Regional Medical Center as an LPN.

Mary was a life long member of Light and Life Free Methodist Church and was also a member of the Christ the King Manor Auxiliary. She was a Sunday school teacher for years at Light and Life Free Methodist Church and enjoyed reading.

Mary is survived by four sons; Harold (Barbara) Johnson of DuBois, William (Cheryl) Johnson of Falls Creek, Robert (Peggy) Johnson of DuBois, and Daniel Johnson of DuBois. One daughter; Sandra Johnson-Priest of Reynoldsville. Also survived by one brother; Edward Knisley of Pittsburgh and a sister Evelyn Weaver of Georgia .

She is preceded in death by both parents, a son, Steven Johnson, a daughter Marlene Terwilliger; two brothers, Daniel and John Knisley, a sister Anna Mae Nichols and one grandson.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2010 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday, January 3, 2010 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. Interment will be at Beechwoods Cementery.
