

Regis Christopher Scepanik, 76 of DuBois, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, March 11, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of 34 years to Karla M. Scepanik whom he married Mar. 1979.
Born July 24, 1936 in DuBois, he was the son of the late John and Stephanie (Kuzner) Scepanik.
Mr. Scepanik was employed with Penn Traffic for 45 years until he retired. After retirement he did a lot of painting for people in the area. He was a U.S Army veteran. Regis was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and enjoyed bowling.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and a step son: Kim Scepanik, FL; Tracy Dougherty, Gloster, VA: James Trusch, DuBois; three grandchildren: Joshua Dougherty, Raleigh, NC; Nathaniel Trusch, DuBois; Charlotte Trusch, DuBois; also two great granddaughters: Synergy Dougherty and Ali Sansorski both of Raleigh, NC
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Dorothy Shelly.
Regis was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
There will be no public viewing. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Regis Christopher Scepanik will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Shepherd’s Grace Chapel, 320 Main Street, Falls Creek, PA 15840 with Pastor Greg Sands officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 PM the time of service Saturday at the church.
