Robert E. Hallstrom

Born on March 11, 1934, in DuBois, the son of the late Godtfred and Mary (Bundy) Hallstrom. On August 10, 1956 he married Donna Lou Bundy Hallstrom, she survives

Robert was a veteran of the United States Air force. He was an electrician with Hallstrom Construction and Hallstrom Clark Electric. He was also a photographer for many years. He was a lifetime member of John E. DuBois #3 Volunteer Fire Co. where he was a captain for many years. He also was active in local politics in the republican party and was a member of I.B.E.W local #5 electricians.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna, three children: Robin Hallstrom Capcara and her husband William of Pittsburgh, PA, Camille Hallstrom of Chattanooga , TN and Laun Hallstrom M.D. and his wife Michelle of DuBois, PA; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother AB Hallstrom of DuBois, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Way officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4PM and 7-9PM on Thursday, November 8, at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc.
