Roger L. Kopshina Sr.

He was born on May 27, 1947 in DuBois, PA; a son of the late LeRoy and Marie A. (Lyons) Kopshina.

Mr. Kopshina worked in maintenance at Riverside Warehouse until his retirement in 2008.

He was an excellent woodworker, enjoyed spending time with his wife doing carpentry and home maintenance, and worked part time doing plumbing work. He was considered a “jack of all trades” and was creative with any project he worked on. He loved to ride motorcycles and mountain bikes.

Mr. Kopshina is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Kopshina, of 50 years, whom he married on October 30, 1965; three children, Roger L. Kopshina, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Cary, NC, Betsy Schulz and husband Norbert of Del Mar, CA, and Kelly Williamson and husband Rick of Nolensville, TN; four grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Brasseur and husband Gary of DuBois; and one brother, Brad Kopshina and companion Karen Ross of DuBois; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Mr. Kopshina’s wishes there will be no public services.
