Vivian Martin

She was born on October 1, 1929, in Weedville RD, PA, the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Beck) Anderson.

Vivian was a graduate of DuBois High School in 1947 and then enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1951. She made a career in the Air Force and retired in Fort Walton Beach, FL, in 1971 with the rank of Staff Sergeant. During her military career she worked at the Pentagon, and was a recruiter for the military. She was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W.

She is survived by her three siblings: Vincent Anderson of DuBois, PA, Vernon Anderson of Streamwood, IL, and Gretta Waite of Brockport, PA: she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Florence Wales.

A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohney Yarger Funeral Chapel, Inc., DuBois, PA.
