Anna Slattery

Anna Doris Slattery, 91, of Dublin, Georgia passed away January 1, 2012 at Serenity Place, Dublin, Georgia. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at Crown Hill Cemetery, 1907 Dawson Rd. in Albany, Georgia at 11:00 A.M

She was born on July 14, 1920 in Lancaster, NY to the late Carl & Fredericka Meininghaus.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Joseph Slattery. She is survived by her daughters, Betty I. Blackmore (Rick) of Sarasota, Fl. And Patricia A. House (John) of Dudley, Ga.; a sister, Clara Stone of Anderson, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Blackmore (Tara) , Courtnee O’Shea (Donald), Shawna Flanders (Chan) and Jeremy House (Brook), and 10 great grandchildren.

She attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a former member of The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, Albany, Georgia.

Family and friends will be gathering at the home of John & Pat House in Dudley, Georgia on Tuesday, January 3 from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Place, Dublin, Georgia or Liberty Baptist Church (Legacy), Dublin, Georgia.
