Ms. Tipton was born on September 22, 1945 to the late Jim and Zell Peters. She was a laborer for Nantucket. She was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Tipton is survived by 3 sons, James & Peggy Allen of Brooksville, Fl., Ollan Benjamin & Pam Pitts of East Dublin, Ga., and Thomas Jeff and Amy Harvey of Blounstown, Fl.

1 daughter, Minnie Rose Branton & James Craig of East Dublin.

2 brothers, Henry Peters of East Dublin, Ga., and George David & Denise Peters of Blounstown, Fl.

2 sisters, Elizabeth Page of Scott, Ga., and Geneva Pitts of Blounstown, Fl.

She is survived by 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Season, Amber, Sara, Jessie & Catlin.

2 greatgrand children, Secret and Bella, and also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Lee Tipton Jr. and 3 brothers William, Sylvester and Doyle Peters
