Betty J. Canaday, age 97, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Betty was a longtime resident of the west side of Columbus. She was a proud domestic engineer for 80 years and raised an amazing family. She is survived by her husband, Jack Canaday. They were married 75 years. She is also survived by her children, Terry (Cindy) Canaday and Christy (Ken) Eversole; grandsons, Kelsey (Ally) Eversole, Cory (Amanda) Eversole, Clinton Canaday, Brandon (Shelby), and Austin Canaday; and great granddaughters, Presley Jean and Mia June Eversole. Betty will be deeply missed by her loving family.
Family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2026, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Dr, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A graveside gathering will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
